All of my Pokemon(R) cards are "the real thing," most of which I originally acquired through US retail stores authorized to carry.

I guarantee that you will be satisfied with the condition of your card when you acquire it from me.

Pokemon(R) cards are collectible cards that are assessable by professional card appraisers and subject to art market variations. While I cannot guarantee that you will be able to sell your card for more than what you paid for it, many cards do increase in value over time.

The Pokemon(R) card game is short for "Pocket Monsters," the original name for certain characters found in Japanese manga and anime. In addition to being played, the cards can be collected and sold on the auction market (alongside collectible sports cards, e.g.). Some of the cards increase in value over time; indeed, the makers of Pokemon collectible playing cards issue "rare" and "secret" cards in anticipation that same cards will increase in value over time.
